A wonderful Victorian Gothic oak writing table dating from around 1880, full of character and beautiful period detail. Made from solid oak, it features a carved drawer front with decorative frieze, rosette corner details and a striking barley twist H-stretcher that gives it plenty of presence despite its compact size.

The rich patina and gentle signs of age tell the story of its long life, adding the warmth and authenticity that only genuine antique furniture can bring. The single drawer provides useful storage, making it as practical as it is attractive.

Its versatile proportions mean it would work beautifully as a writing desk, an elegant console table in a hallway, or a lamp table in a sitting room. Whether styled with a statement lamp, a collection of books or your favourite decorative pieces, this charming Victorian table is an easy way to add character, craftsmanship and timeless style to any home.

This Victorian Oak Table measures:

  • 87cm / 34" wide
  • 57cm / 1'11" deep
  • 79cm / 31" tall
