Delivery & Returns


Source for the Goose style carries over into our packaging; we try as much as possible to use recycled or recyclable wrapping. We use a limited amount of bubble wrap but have found that this is the safest option for ensuring your goodies arrive safely. If your order has bubble wrap around it to protect it, this will be have in the main been recycled from a delivery to ourselves. Expect your delivery within 3-5 working days. We are a family business so this will exclude bank holidays, as the shop is closed. You will also be advised if the shop is shut for other reasons and when you would then expect to receive your order.  If an item is not currently in stock, we will contact you to look at expected delivery schedules.

Christmas delivery - orders received after 12pm on 19th December may not arrive in time for Christmas.

Holiday Closure - the shop is occasionally closed for holiday time, in which case items ordered online will be sent/can be collected on date of return. Current closure dates are 23rd December 2023 closing at 4pm - reopening on Saturday 6th January 2024. Items ordered online during this time will be available to collect from Monday 8th January. Items to be posted will be sent on Monday 8th January.

We use the following signed for services, UPS, DPD, Royal Mail or Parcelforce  in most cases for delivery, and will advise you when we send your items which service is being used.

(UK Mainland only - if you live in Scottish Islands, Channel Isles, Northern Ireland, Isle of Man or Isles of Scilly or overseas please contact the shop for a delivery quote. We would love to hear from you!)

Large items and items such as mirrors (these will be marked in the item description) - please contact us  on 01769 579483 for a delivery quote. (At this time, we are unable to quote for overseas delivery of large items)

You can also select ‘Collect at Source for the Goose’, and your lovely purchase will be ready for collection the following day.  We will email to confirm this; if you would prefer to be texted please add a note at checkout. If you are wanting to collect the same day, please contact the shop within working hours, to see if that will be possible.

Furniture and very heavy items - If you are unable to collect an item personally, we suggest using a courier service such as We may be able to arrange local delivery, so please have a chat with us about this.


Online orders
If you change your mind, please let us know within 14 days if you wish to return an item. Please either call or email prior to posting, so that we know the item is being returned. We ask that the you return the item in the condition it was despatched, for us to be able to refund your money. The items are your responsibility, so please, please, please wrap with care and we suggest you return using a tracking service as proof of postage.  Postage will not be refunded unless the item is faulty.  It can take up to 7 days to process a refund. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Over the counter sales
If you change your mind with items bought in the shop, we offer a credit voucher for items returned within 28 days. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

We will contact you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

To allow a room to be booked for any workshops to take place, we ask that places are paid in full at time of booking. Unfortunately, we cannot refund any cancellations unless the space is filled.
