This Tile Design Natural Jute rug is a newcomer to The Braided Rug family at Source for the Goose. Double sided and incredibly hard wearing, this lovely warm jute will be a long standing member of your family. The contrasting directions of the braids mimic a tiled floor. Imagine this rug placed in front of a roaring log fire, or perhaps under a small table to protect your floor.

Jute is a hardwearing natural fibre which is renowned for its durability. Soft underfoot but able to withstand a lot of footfall. Jute is an environmentally friendly product, and is completely organic. These rugs are  produced in Bangladesh, providing much needed local employment. 

Due to the nature of jute, it is not recommended that they are placed in an area with constant UV light such as a conservatory as the colours will fade. Regular vacuuming will keep your lovely rug clean, and you can spot clean with soap and water. It is not recommended to immerse your rug in water, as it can buckle the fibres.
