120ml Graphite Chalk Paint®

Annie Sloan's Graphite Chalk Paint® is aptly named being a very dark, soft grey which borders on black. Adaptable for many interiors styles, it can give a piece of furniture a very contemporary look, or with some distressing will be suitable for a more rustic, or industrial styling. As a neutral, it works well with many of the other colours in the Annie Sloan range.

A 120 ml project pot is enough to update a bedside cabinet or chair. For larger items you will need the 1 litre tin.

Don’t forget to finish with lashings of Clear Wax or alternatively Chalk Paint Lacquer in Matt or Gloss to protect your masterpiece.

I use the Chalk Paint Bristle Brush for my pieces of furniture, this allows me to build up colour quickly, and will give me a textured finish if I am wanting it.

Alternatively, use one of Annie Sloan Flat Brushes for a smoother, contemporary finish.
