This jewel-toned Tyrian Plum colour is rich and moody and will enhance any space, creating a luxurious atmosphere.

The deeply saturated maroon shade evokes the ancient pigment, Tyrian purple, originally reserved for Roman emperors. With its regal yet inviting tone, Tyrian Plum is perfect for dining areas or bedrooms, adding a warm and rich depth of colour.

Top tips when painting with this 500ml Tyrian Plum Chalk Paint®;

  • Don’t forget to finish with lashings of Clear Wax or alternatively Chalk Paint Lacquer in Matt or Gloss to protect your masterpiece.
  • I use the Chalk Paint Bristle Brush for my pieces of furniture, this allows me to build up colour quickly, and will give me a textured finish if I am wanting it.
  • Alternatively, use one of Annie Sloan Flat Brushes for a smoother, contemporary finish.
  • 500ml is enough to cover approximately 6.75 square metres.
  • In most cases, no need to sand or prime
