120ml Emperor's Silk Chalk Paint

Annie Sloan Emperor's Silk Chalk Paint® is a deep rich red, perfect for adding drama to any item painted in it. A 120 ml project pot is enough to update a bedside cabinet or chair; giving you an instant pop of colour in your home. For larger items you will need the 1 litre tin.

Give your piece of furniture an industrial look with the addition of Black Chalk paint Wax, or buff to a shine to mimic Chinese Lacquer.

Don’t forget to finish with lashings of Clear Wax or alternatively Chalk Paint Lacquer in Matt or Gloss to protect your masterpiece.

I use the Chalk Paint Bristle Brush for my pieces of furniture, this allows me to build up colour quickly, and will give me a textured finish if I am wanting it.

Alternatively, use one of Annie Sloan Flat Brushes for a smoother, contemporary finish.
