Vintage touches

As said above the key is missing, so unfortunately I have been unable to open the lift up lid. The wooden boards on the side have moved slightly over the years, revealing a slight split in the panel. The top has also been mended and there is evidence of this in a line showing where the boards have moved. Even with its foibles of age, this gorgeous chest (possibly once a music or plan chest) is full of character and charm and ready for its new home.
