Cooler than other whites in the range, Annie Sloan's Old White Chalk Paint® is a versatile neutral which will add light to any room.

Perfect for a vintage style when it's lightly distressed or for a modern, flat look apply with a flat brush and simply wax. Its hue is reminiscent of chalk cliffs, and perfect for lightening any colour in the Annie Sloan palette.

Top tips when using this 500ml Old White Chalk Paint®:

  • No need to sand or prime.
  • Don’t forget to finish with lashings of Clear Wax or alternatively Chalk Paint Lacquer in Matt or Gloss to protect your masterpiece.
  • I use the Chalk Paint Bristle Brush for my pieces of furniture, this allows me to build up colour quickly, and will give me a textured finish if I am wanting it.
  • Alternatively, use one of Annie Sloan Flat Brushes for a smoother, contemporary finish.
  • 500ml is enough to cover approximately 6.75 square metres.
