Coordinate this stunning colour with neutrals like Old Ochre, Paris Grey, and Graphite, or soften it by pairing with Antoinette. Finishing with Dark or Black wax will add a aged effect, perfect for a vintage vibe.

Top tips when using this 500ml Napoleonic Blue Chalk Paint®: 

  • No need to sand or prime.
  • Don’t forget to finish with lashings of Clear Wax or alternatively Chalk Paint Lacquer in Matt or Gloss to protect your masterpiece.
  • I use the Chalk Paint Bristle Brush for my pieces of furniture, this allows me to build up colour quickly, and will give me a textured finish if I am wanting it.
  • Alternatively, use one of Annie Sloan Flat Brushes for a smoother, contemporary finish.
