Vintage touches

This wooden cupboard was a scratch built piece, made to fit the needs of its previous owners. I have given it layers of paint in shades ranging from a pale putty, through a dark Aubusson blue to the soft eucalyptus shade it is finished with. Using a saltwash technique has mimicked old blistering paint, allowing the layers of colours to show through.
