Vintage touches

This antique European trunk bears the usual marks of use, with the painted design on the dome top looking a little faded, as well as their being scuffs in the brown painted surface. There is some green paint on of the long stays on the rear and new feet have been added at some point in its long life. The dome top has the original pegs holding it secure to its frame, but is separating a little at the ends. The lock is missing, although it has a key, which is either not original or it was found once they had removed the lock! All in all a very characterful piece with a wonderful history.
