Vintage Tapestry Fire Screen

This antique needlework fire screen is the largest I have ever seen! Picture this as was intended in front of an old stone fireplace, possibly originating in an old manor house. With its beautifully carved wooden frame, and the stunning tapestry centre this screen could be used as a room divider, or a piece of stand alone art work. There are some minimal loose threads on the crewelwork, but this lovely piece is on otherwise good vintage condition.
