This is a lovely example of a pine cabinet covered with a mahogany veneer, typical for its age (c1890). At some point in its long life, it has had a repair to the top hinge, which can be seen to the left of the hinge, and there are some minor scuffs to the base which are in keeping and add to the vintage charm and character of this useful and beautiful piece.
