Cream Chalk Paint by Annie Sloan is a lovely rich, yellowy tone, reminiscent of traditional woodwork and furniture. Give it an aged look with by finishing with Dark Chalk Paint Wax, or soften the look by pairing with Paris Grey for a romantic French look.

Don’t forget to finish with lashings of Clear Wax or alternatively Chalk Paint Lacquer in Matt or Gloss to protect your masterpiece.

I use the Chalk Paint Bristle Brush for my pieces of furniture, this allows me to build up colour quickly, and will give me a textured finish if I am wanting it.

Alternatively, use one of Annie Sloan Flat Brushes for a smoother, contemporary finish.

1 litre is enough to cover approximately 13 square metres.
