Vintage Red Fire Bucket

Perfectly distressed best describes this vintage red fire bucket, with its original red painted exterior and cream interior which has the patina of age and use adding to its overall vintage charm.

One of three, these buckets have a flaking red painted exterior and all have had cream painted interiors, some having more of the original paint than others.

These buckets make for great planters,  picture it overflowing with greenery or even better at Christmas for a, use for cheery tree holder. 

Alternatively, stand one beside a wood burner and fill with kindling. Its rustic look will add a vintage appeal to any fireside.

Bucket One

This has a date stamp, 1959 and initials embossed in the top.

Plain and simply distressed!

Each bucket is galvanised and fairly weighty denoting their age (mid-century). All show signs of wear and tear in their flaking paint and slightly bowed at the bottom from heavy sand.
