These quirky and very amusing prints by French Artist Jules George Redon feature a small child and an amusing quote.

Beautifully reframed in a vintage ebonised bamboo effect frame, both of these limited edition prints are from an original by the artist dated circa 1922.

Being sold singly, but please contact the shop if you would like a quote for the pair

Print one has the line - La Poule Mange Les Escargots - The chicken eats the snails
Print Two has the line - Le Canard Mange Les Limaces - the duck eats the slug

The prints are showing some signs of age related staining but with a new mount and the fabulous frame this adds to their quirky and vintage aesthetic.
